Megan and Will’s wedding could not have been more perfect! The weather was gorgeous, and their whole day was so relaxed. Their ceremony and reception both took place in the adorable town of Marietta, and we had so much fun exploring the cute streets and shops for their photos. It was fitting that their wedding took place around Marietta Square, which has been such a special place throughout Megan and Will’s relationship. They got engaged at the park, and they had even taken their prom photos there together – so sweet!
I’m thrilled to have been a part of Megan and Will’s lovely wedding day. These are two of the warmest people I have ever met. They mean so much to our family, and we just couldn’t be happier for them! Many thanks to my talented friend, Morgan Trinker, for coming with me. As always, we had a blast traveling + shooting together, and you will see some of her beautiful work throughout this post. Enjoy!
We loved shooting in this pretty little bakery, Miss Mamie’s, and I was thrilled that it was decked out in navy blue, one of Megan and Will’s wedding colors. Also, this place won Cupcake Wars, so you may want to check them out if you’re ever nearby!
I really enjoyed seeing how Megan and Will incorporated photos of their family and friends throughout their day. It was such a sweet tribute to those who were there, as well as their loved ones who have passed. The window pane frames and their wall collage were beautiful.
Love this moment Morgan captured while my dad and I were dancing. This was when he pointed out to me that my late brother, Riley, was listed as an honorary groomsman in Megan and Will’s wedding program. We (along with my mom) were so touched by their thoughtfulness in including him in their day.
This was fun! We went out to take a few photos by the tracks, and a policeman quickly pulled us inside a building when the train was about to ride by. He said it would be really loud (and he was right)! Then he took us over to this old police car and even turned the light on for the photos. Such a happy surprise!
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Gibson!
