Cecil and Hobie’s November wedding was absolutely perfect. I loved the classic, yet creative feel to their day – the weather was cool and crisp, and their pretty Fall florals and decor were stunning. It was relaxed and fun all at the same time! I also especially loved how many touching moments there were throughout the day. Cecil and Hobie are just adorable together, and are clearly so in love. It was a joy to be around them, and you could tell everyone felt the same way. I’m thankful to have been a part of such a special day, and am so excited for this sweet couple. They have been living in different states the whole time they’ve been together, and now they finally get to live in the same place!
Many thanks to Jenni Pinola for shooting with me – you will see some of her wonderful work throughout this post! It was a pleasure photographing the work of Buffy Hargett, whose floral arrangements were out-of-this-world. Also, absolutely loved Cecil and Hobie’s invitations from The Refined Pen. So many talented people came together to make this day amazing! I’m so happy to have been there. Thank you Cecil and Hobie! Enjoy!
Favorite moments of the day. So full of joy!
Hobie asked Cecil to pick out his wedding band, and he never saw it until she put it on his finger. Loved this moment when he showed it off to everyone!
Can’t say enough great things about these florals. Incredible!
Instantly fell in love with this amazing piece. To get an idea of the scale, take note that there are whole heads of cauliflower and cabbage in there!
These little girls were the first in line for the strawberries. Too cute!
Cecil’s family has THE BEST wedding tradition. Every groom gets thrown in the a pool. If there isn’t a pool, they will bring one.
Hobie put up a good fight, but he had to go in eventually…
…and he didn’t go alone!
Hobie changed clothes and everyone kept dancing the night away! My favorite part was that the groomsmen who went for a surprise swim with Hobie all ended up wearing towels the rest of the night. Such fun memories!
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. King!
